it's the only way to combat the nonstop PR shit show that is Trumpler. Gotta fight fire with fire...sad, but true. Hillary and Kamala never would lower themselves to roll in the mud with that asshole. They had too much class and were too smart and thought they could rise above it, but when SO much of the electorate is as ignorant as they are, well....this is what they want. Is it ideal? Hell no, but it's the way it is.

16. Another perspective

Perhaps this is a minority view, but for some reason, this tactic is making me uncomfortable. I worry that it seems so unserious and not appealing.

Do voters want MORE Trump-sounding noise? Isn't a fresh, serious (but optimistic), solution-oriented approach what unhappy Americans crave? Remember "Hope and Change"? Don't people want to get out of the mud?

Also, I saw Gov. Newsom's speech yesterday, and the "fight fire with fire" comment hit me hard. I live near the Palisades, and the lack of progress to rebuild after the recent fires is very discouraging. Why has this issue not been front and center? Voters would love to hear about how our politicians are working hard to see California rise from the ashes.

Like I said, I might be alone in thinking this way, but maybe other people are tired of the nonstop resistance strategy, and would welcome a true turning of the page. Newsom has the most beautiful state to utilize as a messaging background; he could make Americans feel the sunshine of better days ahead.
