Those images from today's news are truly astounding. Donny did his lap dance. Putin smiled. And the rest of the world is aghast. It can't be true. But it is. Even the most radical of GOPers now knows the truth. Trump isn't an American. He isn't a patriot. He's a lost soul who's long ago surrendered to evil. And now he's pushing all of us into the same dark place. And an increasing number of formerly loyal Trumpists are seeing what the rest of us are seeing.

It has become REASONABLE to imagine a world without Trump as the most powerful person on the planet. More and more people sense the wisdom of a political and social order without Trump in the picture. So now, it takes only one or two people to force Trump out of power, and all of us know how it can happen. It can happen this way: the Epstein files will show that Donald Trump and Melania were involved in child rape. For years. At a minimum, Melania knew everything and said nothing. This makes her a participant. She allowed the unconscionable to occur for years without end, and said nothing. And Donny was in it with both feet. Someone will release the files, and it will be done as an act of patriotism. Child rape is Donny's Achilles Heel. It's not a political failure. It's a human and a moral failure, and it cannot stand. The path of least resistance is the release of the files. As a nation, we must get rid of Trump. Both Democrats and Republicans will be relieved when this happens. When the files are released, the nation will know that he raped children for several years, and he'll be forced out of office.

If this doesn't happen, we have sealed our doom. As a species, we'll have no choice but to hang our heads in shame, unworthy to share the planet with living creatures, perhaps less noble, but far more pragmatic.
