Question about the Alaska meeting

If trump and putin were the only ones in the limo, how were they communicating? Putin supposedly only speaks a little English (which I don't believe) and trump barely speaks it as well.

1. Putin speaks English very well. He's just too snobbish to do it most of the time. KGB trained

It’s very well done back in 2013. I think it’s some banquet. He takes the microphone and does a karaoke on “Blueberry Hill”

It's too easy to misspeak in a language that isn't your native one. Best to let the interpreters accurately translate everything when the subject is an active war.

4. Putin IS fluent in English. When he first returned to power 25 or more years ago he did a US tour

and I heard an interview with him on NPR without a translator. His English was fluent, albeit accented.

(When I heard MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell claim otherwise, I was incensed. How could she, of all people, fail to remember his first American propaganda tour all those years ago... Damn! )
