Another example of Trump's stupidity

Trump met with Putin in Alaska for a few hours and came away with nothing but "progress," whatever that means.

In diplomacy, world leaders almost never hold a summit until their staffs have ironed out the details to be announced at the summit. In other words, it serves no purpose at all for the leaders to meet if they aren't going to announce an agreement. After all, why go to all the logistical trouble if the meeting is pointless?

Trump obviously wanted another distraction from his Epstein files problem. What an idiot. He comes home from Alaska empty-handed only to return to more calls for the release of the Epstein files.

Trump is stupid. He's also an idiot.

2. This was not a summit
Sat Aug 16, 2025, 07:00 AM
Aug 2025

it was a submission meeting, and I guarantee that Putin ordered the meeting and Krasnov complied in grand fashion.

This submission meeting told the world that the US has joined the league of autocratic nations, told the world that imperialism is OK, told Ukraine that the US will not support it, will not send arms to it.

It was bad enough that Krasnov agreed to Putin's demand to meet in the United States, but for fuck's sake, rolling out the red carpet, Krasnov and Putin riding together in the Beast, WTF, the Secret Service better scan the Beast for bugs.

What a disgrace, yesterday confirmed to me that Helsinki was not an outlier, Krasnov is a Russian asset. I bet Putin has a copy of the Epstein files.

This morning a Canadian analyst as talking about the failed "summit" and he said Rubio has zero experience and qualifications for the job he's been given and that if asked, he couldn't even name the districts in Ukraine or how the country is set up. But like everyone else that was chosen by the Orange Dicktator, he wasn't chosen for his experience or intellect, but for his obedience and loyalty to his master.

Trump won't go against Putin or back Ukraine against him, so why would Putin give him anything?
Trump needs the meeting to pretend he's doing something.

The question is how long can he pretend and convince his base he's even trying? I wonder if Trump thought Putin would cooperate as a favor to him, and he is now facing the humiliation of finding out he won't. Or did he always know, and this is just an act he has to play before he tries to put the blame on Ukraine and wash his hands of the whole thing?

only lasted for a couple of days, and I do have to say that there were enough people who saw it for what it was and kept up the mantra of "Epstein Epstein Epstein."

It's just another example of Trump shenanigans costing the taxpayers millions and millions of dollars.
I hope the ridicule of Trump collapses his narcissistic ego and he has a complete break down.

Now is the time for the Democratic establishment and the rest of us to hit hard with no let up.
