So many interesting features in this version of DU, all I managed it to is make it an enhanced version of the last version.

(69,643 posts)Note that our posts are all highlighted in yellow right now.
If this thread continues our yellow will go away and the newer posts will be highlighted.
It's a nifty feature if you're following a flame war. Makes it easy to see that somebody responded today in that sub thread started three days ago.

(69,643 posts)On closer inspection I see there's an option to highlight posts with recs.
I'm only half getting this too.

(69,643 posts)Watch a thread and notice how the most recent posts appear in yellow. This makes it easy to see the new posts - even if they're way up in a sub thread.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
