Damn, Arnold... I'm going to have to like you again--at least when you go after Trump. Kudos hlthe2b Aug 2025 #2

He's a bit naive in some of his criticism of Democrats and striving for bipartisanship.

But I think he is a hell of a lot better than 99% of current Republicans.

At a summit that sparked some dismay,
Trump and Putin had little to say.
With no deal in sight,
They just smiled for the night—
Like a Looney Tunes sucker display.

At the summit, all bluster, no spine,
Trump called three vague hours “just fine.”
No deals, just some flair,
Putin smirked, left him there—
Like a mark in a con artist's line.

How long until Schlump tries to deport Arnold? I am only half joking, because I think he might be crazy enough to try. At the very least, i think he'll want to. The fact that Arnold has been a US citizen since 1983 would be an insignificant and irrelevant detail to His Royal Orangeness and his secret police ICE thugs.

The more I think about it, the more I almost hope Schlump will threaten him with deportation, or at least make noises about it. Schwarzenegger can afford the kind of high powered lawyers that would make Schlump's shysters quake in their boots, and the resulting melodrama could be quite entertaining!
