Report from the frontlines in DC

Two reports from my daughter who lives on Capitol Hill.

1. LOTS of people in DC depend on taxis, Uber, Lyft, and similar ride services. When the ride arrives at the destination, the driver pulls to the side as best they can, much of the time must stop in the traffic lane to let the passengers out. Now Trump's thugs in their black SUV pull up behind the taxi, Uber, etc., sound their siren, flash their red lights, and hassle the driver. Making DC a much better place to live.

2. The guy who throw the sub at the Trump thug was released that night on his own recognizance. But Trump wanted a video of his arrest. So -- TWENTY thugs were dispatched to his apartment where they re-arrested him, videoing the whole stupid affair. Then the judge vacated his arrest.

1. Trump is making his own movie.

Rearresting someone just to capture the film...I am going to guess that the sub-thrower is next going to launch a million dollar lawsuit.

2. I hate it when people think everyone else in traffic must stop and wait while they take their time getting out

Instead of being inconvenienced themselves by being dropped off down the street where it could be done without stopping traffic.

5. That's assuming there will be a place somewhere down the street to pull over.

In a densely populated, traffic congested area like DC, I don't think that's a safe assumption at all.

What, they all wanted to be in the video that trump would see? How really, really embarrassing. Do these thugs have ANY pride?

10. My daughter is flying there tomorrow for work

Kind of worried, she is taking subway to hotel from airport Reagan N. I don't even like her flying into that airport. She was there during last near miss.
