Went to a local demo today in Minneapolis, a Mobilize event protesting the Trump takeover.
About 400 people on a pedestrian bridge over 35W (the Summer St. NE pedestrian bridge, for you locals) north of downtown Minneapolis. Got lucky; there was some kind of traffic bottleneck that slowed down the southbound traffic into downtown so the drivers had plenty of time to read our great signs! Lots of honking horns, waves, and loud horns from truckers. Didn't know you could get so many people on one of those bridges. There was a guy dressed up as a taco, wish I'd got a picture. Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the crowd, no good vantage point without climbing onto a nearby railroad bridge but there were trains. Complained to another old person about why we were still having to do this shit after 50 years.
