Their racism means more to them than anything; their health, the health of their parents, the health of their children. The health of our democracy. Their racism is what gives their life meaning.
I have mentioned this before, and yes, it is disheartening, but I have gotten through to a couple of these people by pointing out to them that they can continue to hate whoever they want to hate, but for the love of God, wake up to the fact that it’s not the people that you hate who are screwing you ! You can hold onto your hate , but for God ‘s sake stop voting for the people who ARE screwing you, your parents, your children, and our country.
