1. Outrageous! Is this the kid that his dad is a naturalized citizen and dad

was already in the process of doing all the paperwork? In that case they were already doing everything “ the right way”. The process can take years. Dad was here first and got naturalized then brought his teen son over and then they took the kid who was in high school. I don’t know if this is the same case.

2. I don't know either but the kid's immigration case was in

the courts, so maybe. Then again the courts and their public nature are the hunting grounds for ice. No doubt they looked up the names of people who had previously had dealings with immigration court and cross referenced it with local highschools, and showed up at school.
