I’m sad to say that Cosby and Woody were huge comedy influences in my youth.

America’s most popular and respected comedians are scheduled to perform at a festival that the Saudi Royal Family has organized with the express purpose of advancing their Saudi Vision 2030 campaign to change the country’s global image and turn it into an international entertainment hub. The Riyadh Comedy Festival, which will start in September and run into October, will feature such A-list talent as Bill Burr, Kevin Hart, Tom Segura, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Andrew Schulz and many, many more internationally successful entertainers who will no doubt cash massive checks in exchange for laundering the reputation of the journalist-murdering, terrorist-funding, human-rights-hating Saudi Royal Family.

Burr and his buddies should stay wary if Cosby ever wants to celebrate the festival with a toast.

3. I saw Cosby back in the '70s when he was still doing stand-up,

before he got into TV, and it was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, and I found Woody Allen's movies hilarious, too. We didn't know they were sex pests, of course. But the Riyadh "Comedy" Festival sounds just like something you'd expect from a kingdom of bonesaw murderers, all-around despots and pals of Trump. "A-list comedians?" Really?
