It was several minutes before the Russian president mentioned what he called the "situation in Ukraine" - ostensibly the catalyst for the summit. When he did, it was to state that although an unspecified "agreement" had been reached, the "root causes" of the conflict had to be eliminated before peace could be achieved.

President Trump said it is up to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to get a peace deal done with Russia after the U.S. president met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.
Trump said there are “many” points he and Putin agree on after meeting with the Russian leader but added “it’s really up to President Zelensky to get it done.”

So, behind closed doors, Putin reiterated his demands and conditions for a peace deal, Trump said it sounded fair to him and if Zelensky doesn't accept the conditions, Ukraine and Europe can deal with it.
