Some people are destined to simply side with whoever seems to have the upper hand. They go with perceived alphas because they crave protection. When you mock a perceived alpha with no answer, you become an alpha.
Just months ago Newsom was touring around talking about how toxic the Democratic brand was. This was bandwagon behavior. He seems to have changed his coms style and he's much better off for it.
Bullies need to be punched in the fucking face. Newsom's pummeling trump these days. More of that!
