but I think today's meeting is going to be OK. The EU/UK/NATO contingent are pros; lifetime politicians, for whom dealing with difficult customers is their bread and butter. Trump came out of the NATO summit feeling like a king - NATO he was said wonderful - a 180 on his firm view that they were only a bunch of grifters (like himself).
Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the other hand has relatively little political experience in negotiation. He was swept to power on a wave of popular support that gave him a colossal mandate. He is a quick study, but experience can't be bought.
So I think this summit will not be anything like disaster. We will see.
