Just occurred to me what AI reminds me of:

a 1977 movie called The Demon Seed. Computer takes over the lab of its creator, then his home, and then his wife. And then decides to procreate through his wife.

Seems a little too real now.

Even the Twilight Zone took a crack at it with Wally Cox playing an early version of a stereotypical programmer.
