Even though she would be fair, she wouldn't be acceptable to Republicans so Biden had to go with Garland.
Should have found people like Yates who would be willing to work as acting AG and when her time expired, nominate Peter Strzok as acting.
Jeanne fucking Pirro is a DC judge and Krasnov pardoned her ex-husband. What's wrong with this picture?
The Democratic party is polling low because the Democratic voters want them to bring guns to a gun fight.
There are signs that the party leaders are catching on.

(32,789 posts)so did Clare McCaskill just now on Chris Haye's show. Clare believes that gerrymandering will backfire.
Let's look at what Magats were ordered to do in Texas. Texas used AI to draw maps so that Democrats can't win. There will be 2 black districts in Texas. Missouri is looking at gerrymandering so that there will be 1 black district. Florida is looking at gerrymandering.
That is a freaking gun fight. If Magats are successful they will make it so that Democrats can never win the House, there will be no way it can backfire short of a civil war.
Barack Obama, a Constitutional scholar, is urging California to bring out its guns.
Where are the other Democratic states doing what Texas just did?
That is my point. I believe that Garland is a good man who mistakenly believed that Republicans would come around and do the right thing.
Texas Magats are assigning a cop to House Magats to escort them home, to escort them to the grocery store, to escort them to the bathroom. Hey people, they won't stop with House Texas Democrats, WE ARE NEXT.

(32,789 posts)I am talking about Democrats who believed that Republicans would do the right thing, believed that the courts would do the right thing.
Should not have passed the CR back in March until Magats gave assurances that our social safety net would be protected.
Chuck Schumer led a minority of Congressional Democrats to allow passage of the CR because he feared that Democrats would be blamed for a shutdown. Schumer didn't even bring a knife to a gun fight, he gave Krasnov everything he wanted.
It is getting really close to a full blown dictatorship, there is still time to fight.
Time Matters.
