Shades of things to come. Next he'll come after your guns. It will not be the Dems taking your guns.

It was never the Dems.

If you buy a gun from a dealer, you fill out a BATFE form 4473...

Question 11.e on Form 4473 asks the purchaser if they are an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance. If you answer yes, no gun for you...If you answer no, and it is later proven to be a lie, then you can end up like Hunter Biden.

TLDR? It's already illegal.

What if you were merely at a party a month ago? At which point are you no longer disqualified? And who gets to decide that? It applies to being addicted as well.

This infringement should cause outrage, but unfortunately weed-smoking gun owners don't have many friends on the left or the right. That's just the reality of it.

Also, remember that if you went to rehab for say, opioid addiction, then you use your firearm in self defense and you are somehow still positive for opiates, then that could be an issue....Conversely, if you buy a gun WHILE in rehab, that would definitely be an issue.

The main thing is the perjury trap....Don't lie on a Federal Form.
