Expect the Hard Right to twist this murder into "proof" we need martial law
https://www.the-sun.com/news/15008358/travis-renee-baldwin-newsmax-killed-shooting/Here's the deal: Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, was a makeup artist working at Newsmax TV. She lived in the DC area. She was recently murdered by gunshot - a very sad situation, correct? And oh my, this is gonna be proof that there's a conspiracy against Republicans that's gotta be put down by rolling tanks down Constitution Avenue with all their guns loaded.
Problem is, they caught the guy who allegedly did it and the suspect is her own son. So far they don't have a motive, but she was called by her son to his apartment and he allegedly shot her after she got there.
