All Hail; Conductor Harriet, American Hero!!

Just a couple years before covid at The Metropolitan Museum of Art there was a photography exhibit of photos of Black Americans, various places, times, regular folks, and some more famous people.

There was a photo of Harriet Tubman when she was older, sitting in a chair with her knitting. I sometimes forget photography was emerging around the Civil War time.
This was past that, but wow - it was like History right in front of my eyes!

🤔
What if the next time he rides around in "the beast" people toss wreaths of garlic, and holy water on it?

I recommend everyone see it. Such an engrossing, heartbreaking, and ultimately exhilarating piece of history! Superbly acted and perfectly cast. I knew about her underground railroad work, but had no idea she led a victorious regiment for the Union side during the Civil War. And she was all of 5' tall. The bravery that must have taken. She had an amazingly powerful presence.
