Maine's always been a tough place to make a living, especially with George's Bank fished out and remaining fish stocks heavily regulated and managed and most shellfhis now farmed. In the interior, it's logging and farming. As it is elsewhere, pay is shit and prices are up and one job won't do it any more.

This ad will be a winner, especially the line about fighting 3 wars since the minimum wage was raised. That oughta do it.

I just googled and was surprised to learn she's actually almost 3 years younger than me. (I was 75 in March; she'll be 73 in December.) I had her figured for a lot older, because she just seems that way to me. Some say age is a state of mind; if that is the case, she's pushing 100, imo. NOTHING against us old folks, honestly; but some people run out of gas earlier than others, and from what I can see, that woman is running on fumes. Low energy and so hesitant to take a stand on anything controversial that she usually ends up going along with the rest of the Repubs...AFTER waffling just long enough to get people's hopes up that she might do the right thing.

This gentleman would be a breath of fresh air compared to her. I wish him well.
