Kudos. I'm just not sure it is gaining traction OUTSIDE traditional Democratic voters. Hope I'm wrong.

But if my quick research is correct, Newsom got 59% of vote in California, now he’s at 56%. That doesn’t make me confident he’ll do well in close swing states we need to win.

Seriously, I’d be thrilled for Newsom to win in 2028. He’s just got to do better to win states we need. And, I’m not sure there is anyone in a better position than Newsom to do better.
