Trump DOJ hired lawyer who compared Jan. 6 prosecutions to the Holocaust
A lawyer who represented violent rioters charged in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and compared their prosecutions to the Nazi genocide has been hired by the Department of Justice, where he is now working with the Trump administration's "Weaponization Working Group."
"These prosecutors are evil people," said attorney Jonathan Gross during a January YouTube livestream prior to joining the administration. "They will put you on a cattle car to Auschwitz without batting an eye."
The Justice Department, and its "Weaponization Working Group," is among several agencies that have used government power to target Trump's perceived enemies. On Friday, the FBI searched the home of John Bolton, who served as national security adviser in the first Trump administration and has since become one of the president's most vocal critics.

Read that first sentence of the third paragraph again. "The Justice Department, and its "Weaponization Working Group," is among several agencies that have used government power to target Trump's perceived enemies." Heck, read the entire article, it is chock full of similar statements.
Irony is indeed dead to this administration.
