If his actions in the last few weeks are distractions, from sending troops into DC to having the FBI search John Boldons house and office, one can only conclude the material on Trump is either damning or highly embarrassing.
So why doesnt Trump have the material in question destroyed? Likely because he cant.
So what does that tell us?
Perhaps because the damning/embarrassing sections are duplicated many times, or an entire file or more are predicated in such sections, or there are multiple cross references to the file/sections like registration documents.
Are there other possibilities?
What are your ideas?

(13,176 posts)Not only a participant. Could be why we never saw his tax returns. He could have procured and participated in that partnership. Files could show everything including how he laundered the cash.
Exactly why he needs the DOJ under his thumb.

(14,309 posts)...he would reveal everything. Then after getting in offie, all he's done is declare it a hoax, delay, deflect, and distract. It's a puzzlement.

(19,502 posts)That's that my initial question was about
Why doesn't Trump order the material deleted? What does that tell limited fact us about the material?
That seems like a very fruitful like of inquiry.
It might not tell us what's in the files, but it's an approach that can tell us something about the material we don't yet know.
