I guess honoring the memory of 49 people who were murdered and 53 who were wounded is too "woke" for 2025
During artist / writer John Byrne's tenure on the Fantastic Four comic, he turned a bit of Stan Lee / Jack Kirby lore inside out and upside down.
We'd known for years that Doctor Doom...Victor Von Doom...was in a lab explosion that left his face disfigured, hence the iron mask.
Byrne introduced an amazing twist. Doom removed his mask and there was a TINY LITTLE SCAR, barely visible.
Doom's VANITY was SO PATHOLOGICAL that the sight of ANY "imperfection" on his "perfect" face drove him further into madness.
Lost his mind over the equivalent of a hangnail.
That brings us to Trump.
Most of his ghost-written books include a chapter or lengthy passage on the "importance of revenge," of hitting people who have wronged you back "10 times harder."
Trump is currently in the process of hurting as many people in as many different ways as he can for electing Biden in 2020.
He knew this latest stunt would:
1). Give the media something to discuss other than Epstein, and
2). Hurt people and piss them off, and he lives to commit acts of extreme mental cruelty.
When will be decide that it's "enough?" Probably in 2028, if he lives that long.
