he's no idiot.
He's had weeks, perhaps months, to get ready for this raid.
He's had time to consult with legal counsel. And legal counsel would have asked if his client had anything suspicious in his home and/or office. And if he did, then hide it in off-site storage. You know, one of those small rooms where you pack cardboard boxes full of papers. Likely under an assumed name.
So, if Patel claims that he found "something," it's because he planted it.
