A detention center is coming to Nebraska!

The HSI and Governor Pillen is reopening a correctional facility in McCook Ne to house illegal immigrates. They announced it during the week.

Local news outlets reported the story.

Many residents near the facility and other residents in nearby communities are concerned about the situation and have voiced their outrage against the decision!

Former Governor Ricketts now US Senator stated that it will be a great opportunity to reform the detainees and good chance to be better citizens.

Well, that’s not why they are being held in detention centers and yet the GOBers continue to spew lies about their crimes!

I though interment camps were places where kidnapped law abiding citizens are placed before they are sent to another country? Just exactly why would you retrain and reform kidnapped law abiding people to be better citizens if you are going to traffic them to another country? Exactly how to do retrain and reform kidnapped law abiding citizens to be better citizens? I think the former Governor knows something that we don't know....

6. Because Work Will Set Them Free!

Work at the local farms and ranches, in their orange suits, in exchange for 10 bucks at the commissary a day. These locals complaining will probably change their tune once they realize why the prisoners are really there and how cheap their labor is.

Hopefully just a slip of the tongue if the governor actually said 'better citizens' when he was actually talking about a group who, by definition, are supposed to be NON-citizens.
