I'm paying about $2.65 a gallon. And I see a fair number of license plates from Ohio, here for the beach and the golf.

I bought gas at $2.90/gallon Thursday and prices across the street (literally) were $3.49. The same has been true every time someone has announce anew high in gas prices. Gas prices fluctuate wildly on fairly short time frames. This is no different.

60 miles south it is $2.89. I didn't fill up here
because normally it is 30 cents or so cheaper in Dover?

it can go plenty higher for all I care. I'm sick and tired of these gigantic shitwagons on the roads.

And is one of the lower priced areas of the county.
I've seen it 20 cents higher in the county's biggest city.
It also seems the closer to Chicago one gets, the prices rise.
Wholesale gas prices are up about 3% over the last week.
The chart at the link is interesting. I suggest looking at the 1W and 1Y views.
On the first, the week long rise is obvious. On the one year, one need not imagine too hard to see an upward fit line YTD.
