I am glad they were run off--but the first thing I noticed was that 3 agents did not wear masks.--I may have mis- counted as there is a lot of movement.
Woman single handedly chases ICE out of neighborhoodprotects family from kidnapping.
Woman: "Are you ICE? I want to see your warrant."
Agent: "You have no right to see anything."
Woman: "They don't have a warrantand don't belong in your house! If you are an immigrant stay in your home! I repeat, ICE is in your neighborhood!"
At one point agents directly threaten to arrest the womanjust for exercising her constitutional right to free speech.
The incident occurred on Bayard Street in the Chambersburg neighborhood of Trenton, New Jersey. #DemsUnited

(32,789 posts)Blue jeans and ratty undershirts. Is that the uniform for ICE, just a vest that says POLICE?
These people are Gestapo and if rumors are true, get $1,500 per arrest.

Official policy: ICE is a federal law enforcement agency, and its agents are salaried employees, not paid per arrest or detention.

(58,374 posts)Sadly, with hiring stalling in the economy, jobs with ICE are tempting since they pay well and appear to require no prior experience/training. And they let you cover your face to hide your shameful self.

(17,934 posts)Her. She was persistent and demanded to see a warrant. Wish she had called them January 6 thugs, because they probably are. Seems she did finally chase them off.

(92 posts)...these are government officials. We pay their salaries, so they work for us, not Barbie "The Puppy Killer" Gnome! We have a right to know who they are.

(1,897 posts)This woman is a hero, but it would be great if ICE was met regularly by large groups of protestors doing the same thing. Viral videos of the encounters could build the phenomenon more. And, some large marches on DC to protest the federal presence there would be great too.

(92 posts)This brave person did what we should all do. Citizens need to stand up and warn one another when these fascists show up in the neighborhood. Not just one, but all, except immigrants. Record their faces and search for matches. Let every neighbor know.
