The no tax on tips, and up to 12000 tax credit for those over 65 as part of expensive budget bill for
three years is an obvious con job aimed at the midterms and the 2028 election.
The question is will Americans be lulled into complacency by those BRIBES?
I have no doubt that the rethugs fully expect that these bribes will propel them to winning congress in 2026, and the WH in 2028 when those bribes expire.
If that happens, and republicans continue to hold the reigns of power in this country, 2028 will be when the full implementation of project 2025 will happen, and they will use the "excuse" that the high deficits will compel them to dismantle Social Security, Medicare, and any safety nets started with FDR's New Deal and LBJ's Great Society.
The writing is on the wall, and unless Democrats can unify left right and center against this threat on our democracy, it will be over.
The only way republicans win is by dividing Democrats. That's what happened in 2016 and 2024.
