Sony Raises Price of PlayStation 5 in U.S.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced on its PlayStation Blog on Wednesday it will raise the suggested retail price of its PlayStation 5 consoles in the U.S. beginning on Thursday due to

"a challenging economic environment."

Recession is underway. People are feeling it more than big companies thus far. But announcements like Sony's indicates the slump is trickling up.
