True story 1980's.
There's a bus that goes out to a place called City Island.
It is a smallish island way up in the NE Bronx. Lots of boats, and modest fishing boats , sea food restaurants.

The bus goes back into waaay upper Manhattan. So my sister is catching and riding it south, and westward from an area further down from CI.
It's summer.

There's a noise from the back of the bus. She looks back. A big bucket has tipped over.

And out come the crabs scuttling away!

I forgot to ask her if anyone helped the owner of the bucket!

2. That is the NYC I know and love

Despite what TSF says, NYC is far from a dystopian hellscape. New Yorkers are actually quite nice and help each other.
