Across Europe, governments and institutions have sought to capitalise on the exodus, launching programmes aimed at attracting stateside talent or, in the case of one enterprising Italian village, seeking to bolster its population with disgruntled Americans.
Among the first was Frances Aix-Marseille University, which in March put out an offer of scientific asylum for researchers reeling from Trumps crackdown on academia. Three months later, the university said it had received more than 500 inquiries for the 20 spots.

then more and more smart people will leave America. Honest to God, this nation will spend the next three generations apologizing to the planet for what we do in the next three years.

Its a 5 year process and requires a minimum investment of 500k. He is in his early 40s and doesnt want his kids to be trapped in the U.S. my wife and I are considering it as well.
