Looking at his legs and ankles he has issues with blood flow... and probably is a son of gun to get an IV in.. so viola.. in the hand.. chemo maybe.. that is what happened to me.. veins shut down, even the ports failed and the final two round of chemo were in my hands.. and the bruises were brutal.. Could also account for the thinning of his hair..
