Kristi Noem is pushing for ICE to buy and operate a fleet of deportation planes, sources say

Former officials say that if ICE owned its own planes, it could double the number of people it deports each month. But it would be costly.

make money off of the deportations? I'm just trying to think like a Republican. Don't they want the private sector to handle government services? They would probably do that, but Noem wants to blow billions money on a bunch of planes. She's got plans for using those planes for other things besides hauling around immigrants.
