I see what the good professor is saying but this smacks way too loudly of Both-Siderism.

We're no longer dealing in a world of differing schools of thought.

Let's stop pretending that there's any credible venue of discussion and debate where one side researches views based on credible data, facts, history etc. and the other just conjures it whimsically out of thin air.
