Just to be clear, Cabinet meetings for prior Presidents were not open for the entirety, right?

Usually, the press would be brought in, the President might make a few short remarks for a few minutes or so, and then the press would leave and the Cabinet would get into business behind closed doors discussing serious matters, right?

The whole thing with the entire meeting being open for 3 hours and consisting entirely of each Cabinet member making remarks (and issuing North Korean style praise upon their leader) is unique to Trump.

Am I right?
