The Associated Press @AP 3hBREAKING: President Trump extends his control over Washington by taking management of Union Station away from Amtrak.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced the takeover alongside Amtrak President Roger Harris at Union Station on Wednesday for the launch of the NextGen Acela, the rail services new high-speed train.
Union Station, the secretary said, has fallen into disrepair when it should be a point of pride for the city. He said taking over management of Washingtons main transportation hub, which is walking distance from the U.S. Capitol, would help beautify the landmark in an economical way and was in line with Trumps vision.

Yes. OP edited OP (good). Now I'm wondering what the "hat trick" analogy here is.

A "hat trick" is an ice hockey term for when a player scores three goals in one game. One of the first times it happened, spectators threw many hats onto the rink ice (back when most men wore real hats, not caps; it was in the 50s I think).

...that's the thing about language Bernardo.
It's nebulous and fungible.

I think you meant "trick", not "hat trick".
But I do not know. Why is the number 3 important in this context? Do you mean some deviousness? Some special skill involved. Why "hat trick" and not "great trick" or similar?

Hope someone moves them to the urinals, where they belong.
