...where he was respected and beloved, helping to bring down HIV rates as medical treatments changed.

He's got places to land, but it's bad news for the country.

looks like and standing for what is right even if it has negative impacts for the person standing up. I've never accepted those who "go along".

are personal heroes of mine. It was very difficult for leaders to advocate for lgbtq+ medical treatment back in the 80's and 90's. As a registered nurse I worked with a number of physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff who made clear their distaste for lgbtq+ patients. As a country we have made such progress. It is very painful to see us falling back so far, and so quickly.

Everyone should light up their Congressperson’s phone lines tomorrow and demand that they publicly and loudly call for RFK Jr.’s resignation immediately before he destroys the entire CDC and kills us all in the process 😡🤬 Our leadership needs to shout this from the rooftops like Senator Murray is doing!!!

The personal toll is tremendous and falls unevenly, but what other choice is there when it comes to exposing the serious damages to our institutions that keep us healthy and safe? These folks are the true heroes, and I admire them greatly.

is why I pray for an end to the evil work of those who weaken, sicken, and kill off Americans just to parasitically weaken, sicken and kill off democracy's body politic.
