PA-13: Farnham (D) announces congressional candidacy
CHAMBERSBURG On Saturday at the Franklin County Visitors Center, Beth Farnham officially launched her 2026 campaign for U.S. Representative of Pennsylvanias 13th Congressional District as a Democratic candidate to the office currently held by Republican incumbent Dr. John Joyce.
The announcement sets up a probable rematch between the respective candidates, as Joyce defeated Farnham in last years PA-13 race in receiving over 74% of the ballots cast.
In a press release issued by her office, Farnham thanked her supporters, including the over 104,000 people that did vote for her previously, while also recognizing family and her team as well as Democratic committees of the 13th District and several grassroots groups.
Farnham centered her speech around representing Everyday Americans whom she defined as hard-working families, retirees on a fixed income, veterans, young adults just making their way, public school students, and everyone who is not a multimillionaire.
