Lisa Cook, Board of Governor will most likely formally appeal the trump firing for cause in the courts today
according to Bloomberg.
Per Bloomberg TV: Tobin Marcus of Wolfe Research Head of politics and Policy, believes that the lower courts will enforce an injunction to prevent any removal of Lisa Cook, but that this supreme court will give trump the power to fire her.
What I find extraordinary, but not surprising, is that the only thing that the press has been covering is if trump has the authority to fire a fed board governor, but completely ignoring the accusations of "mortgage fraud", and whether there is validity in those accusations. The sociopath in the WH has not presented anything to substantiate his accusations. They are taking a playbook from directly from the demagogue joe mccarthy.
If Lisa Cook is shown not to have done any of the charges she is accused of doing, and the SC still gives the sociopath in the WH the power of firing her without cause, they will have made Unitary Executive Theory the law of the land, which give the U.S. president sole and total authority of the executive branch, including the power to remove any federal official without cause.
That is a dictatorship, and removes all checks and balances from the president of the U.S.
