Biden's National Security Advisor Now Backs Withholding U.S. Arms Sales to Israel

Comments represents a major shift for Jake Sullivan - who spent a year-and-a-half fiercely lobbying Democrats against any such efforts

"I have in fact told a number of members who were thinking about the votes on these resolutions that the situation as it stands today, following the breakdown of the cease-fire in March, means that a vote to withhold weapons to Israel is a totally credible position. That is a position I would support," Sullivan told The Bulwark Podcast.

Well, late in coming, Jake, now that you have no real power - but welcome anyway.

The resolution was just for certain bombs that caused the majority of civilian deaths in Gaza, it wasn't for blocking all arms.

Congressional members fear AIPAC.

Netanyahu seems intent on destroying any future for Palestinians. He hasn’t tet ordered to IDF to push all Palestinians into the Mediterranean to drown since he prefers the horrific damage that US bombs can deliver, but unless he is somehow stopped there will be no Palestinians in Gaza within months. He means to kill them all or force them to leave so Israeli settlers can enjoy seafront residences.
