Anyone else hurting today? Can't get those kids that were killed in Minny out of my mind.....

and their families as well. Feel so powerless and hopeless to do anything about it. If I could replace myself (56 yrs. old) with either of those kids I absolutely would....just depressed about an issue that won't go away because one party in this country refuses to do anything about it. Any suggestions would be welcome. Don't tell me to pray please. I do that daily and frankly it isn't helping at this point. TIA

Mass in the Church. They showed a photo of a young woman literally bent over in grief, I did pray for her, she could have learned an awful fate for her child. These are sad, sad times.

Dec. 1, 1958. 92 students and 3 nuns died in the fire. My aunt had gone home for the day when the fire broke out just before dismissal. I have been haunted by that tragedy ever since. That was an accident and not a purposeful attack.

I have a feeling this incident will keep floating into my mind. Especially the fact that it could have been prevented but for extreme right wingers being paid off by the gun lobby.

Sandy Hook also haunts me.

What to do? Heather Cox Richardson has said that the only way to stop this problem is to vote Republicans (I prefer MAGAs) out of office. So whatever you can do to accomplish that.
