Experts in exile

What if Dems started setting up non-official committees of experts who have been exiled? These committees could have panels of scientists and physicians who constantly address misinformation from CDC and HHS. They could give recommendations for professionals that would likely go against the advice of MAGA world "experts". Other physicians and most Americans would probably be well served by such a group.

It would piss off Trump and let the world know that the experts in the US have had enough of the Trump foolishness.

Perhaps have foreign policy committees in exile. Education professionals in exile. Etc.

Of course, Trump would find a way to imprison them I'm sure. But it's a thought.

3. I hope that this has been proceeding apace

for some time, starting with replication of any necessary data, etc. and hopefully taking place across what are/were? many aspects of federal government.

This hope may be exceedingly naive on my part, but possibly many in govt. have been preparing both for the gutting of the agencies they work for and hopefully for a time of full restoration and reconstruction.

And that said, I'm fairly terrified about the interim, especially for the younger generations...
