I'm reminded of a small story...

...from a small town in the heart of Appalachia.

They had a problem with somebody breaking into the local drug store and stealing narcotics. It happened over and over again.

The thieves would always outsmart the cops.

Someone would call from the outskirts of town and report some crime about to happen. The two cops, like Andy and Barney, would get in their cruiser and immediately proceed to the crime about to happen.

As soon as they turned on their lights, the thieves would hit the drugstore again.

It was sort of like a war game for them. The thieves were like guerillas. They figured out a way to get the drugs they wanted.

I don't know why I am reminded of this story?
