Donald Ayer, former deputy AG under Geroge HW Bush on Bloomberg critisizing much of the press ignoring

that the president of the United States is dismantling our fundamental system. While much of the reporting focuses on the little things occurring, they ignore the long term danger and threat to our Democracy that these cumulative assaults represent.

that the U.S. would not involve itself in Iraq's dispute with Kuwait, which effectively gave the green light to Hussein to invade Kuwait, and the first gulf war. That could be argued as pure incompetence. but the second gulf war under bush W was an intentional plot to overthrow Hussein based on the WMD lie. It destabilized the entire middle east, and helped shift power to Iran.
