Nicole Wallace just now: Democrats have all the facts and the public opinion is with them...

but they seem to struggle with "the fight". She was referencing the economy, and the irrefutable fact that the economy does better under Dems. Simple messaging. A lay-up. Should be a callback anytime some R slams Dems for inflation or anything economy related. Bam! Mic drop!

Also, it doesn't just apply to the economy. It applies to crime, the deficit, healthcare, etc.

She said she was confused as a former R about why the Dems aren't out there screaming about this.

I’d like to hear more from him. He’s as likeable & as engaging as Tim Walz. And they wouldn’t be afraid to get the job done.

He is extremely liberal regarding reducing mass incarceration and the injustices of the criminal system. To the point where many locally consider his views "extreme". (To me, similar "extremism" as thinking that young children in schools should be fed lunch regardless of their parents ability to pay.)

This is probably the first interview I've watched of him. I had an impression - probably based on local news reporting - that he was more extreme and disorganized than he appears in this interview. Of course, we are in different times now ... there is no one as extreme as the current disastrous federal administration.

They are preaching to the choir. Hakeem Jeffries posting on BlueSky is great and all but he's reaching only one side for the most part. We/they have to scream the message outside of our bubble.

as far as the media is concerned. The corporate media is willing to carry the rightwing narrative unquestioningly and that's a serious problem. That's why strategies to overcome that, such as what Newsom is doing, are so important. Very short, fact based comebacks are important to break through. No more college professor routines. Show anger! It will attract attention and help us break through.

before tossing to Ari Melber?
It was a bit stunning to me. She said that someone on the show had referred to the 2016 election having been won with the help of a foreign country. She then pointed out that there was no proof of that.
Was this a cya move to fend off a Trump FCC move.?

Apologize for any errors. Hoping I got her wording correctly. I thought it was a given by now that of course there was Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

I find the "toss" between Ari and Nicole to be often awkward so I did something else during that. Rachel and Lawrence are the only ones good at the "toss" as far as I'm concerned. Hope someone saw it and can clarify.

from Nicolle's show anywhere. But, I know I heard it. And I think it may have been in response to DA Larry Krasner mentioning
Russian interference in the 2016 election.
He said something similar on Jen Psaki's show last night.

Should act like the crazy republicans and derail the conversation by listing every single issue this kook has created. In unison, you know like talking points.

We are in the last gasps of a democracy and we are without leadership.
