all the stupid things he's doing will catch up and impact on their lives.

We know that they will feel the impact. He's got to realize that the MAGA's will get caught up in his criminal schemes and destruction of our democracy. It's almost like he doesn't care about his MAGA base and he's out to commit political suicide. Or does he think that the MAGA's won't be touched by his daily destruction of this country?

They will continue to blame immigrants, gay or trans people, Democrats, "globalists," the deep state, etc. no matter what happens or how much evidence showing [their vote---->Trump's actions---->their problems] is continually waved in their faces.

The same type of people remain in denial about Reagan's effects/responsibility four decades later, and Bush two decades later, so one ought to expect that the Trump-related denial will last at least that long. Most MAGAts will die of old age still being MAGAts (if not vocal/enthusiastic then at least self-righteous and fundamentally unrepentant).
