Trump is like a dog marking his territory. He puts his name in huge letters wherever he can. Even on buildings he doesn't own.
There's going to be an awful lot of sanding, spackling, and prying in the next few years. Hopefully the ballroom runs into permit issues and countless delays in the courts.
