I know this is just The Mirror, but it seems there is a lot of hopeful speculation.
After not being seen at all on Thursday or Friday, Trump has no scheduled events planned for the weekend, leading many online to believe that something drastic has happened to his health.
'Where is Trump?', 'It happened' and 'Trump is dead' have all trended on X over the past several hours, with the President doing nothing to quash these rumors. This comes as the White House were reportedly 'fuming' over the response to Trump's recent health issues.

“Yes, terrible tragedies happen,” Vance told USA Today. “But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.
“And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days,” Vance added.
Trump is 79 and was the oldest president to be sworn in at the time of his inauguration in January. His health has been in the spotlight after the White House announced last month that he had undergone medical testing for swelling in his legs and bruising on his hands.

I think the SC is with Trump because the majority, all Federalist picks, have the same goals. Ie it is not Trump as much as right wing goals.
Congress is different. Many might be afraid to challenge Trump for fear that he could cause them to lose a primary. The question might be whether Vance inherits that ability.
On one hand, he is certainly not charismatic. One warning might be that he might be able to use the base's grief from losing Trump to push them for support. (There are so many differences - ie LBJ's many years in Congressional leadership, skill, and the genuine shock of losing a young leader to assignation - but LBJ was able to get many things like Civil rights legislation partly in honor of JFK)

I also think the right (especially white women who believe white supremacy is their friend) will vote for a white male married to a non-white female.

How about a VP like Kamala Harris, who would have been ready to take over on DAY ONE of the Biden presidency if needed. I cant believe JD just admitted to the world how un-serious he is.

The whole bunch lies so much the more they tout Trump health the better possible outcome. If he does show in public the trousers should be extra baggy and news photographers will be interested in tiny hands.

(13,044 posts)Her skin was paper thin with dark bruises and she lived to 96, ate sweets and rich food all her life, use to have stomach issues. And Trump has money for the best doctors and treatments that my mom didn't have. He will probably live at least 5 more years. I bet he is having a medical procedure and just doesn't want to talk about it because he likes to think he is a tough guy.

Or, he just needed some medication adjustment so he can go on another few months.
MAGA idiots won't complain about anything he does, he can completely make America not be America anymore. And he's pretty damned close right now. Then, Vance and Project 2025 can go on to rebuild the country into the fully fascist, "Christian" nation they want, where the super rich have all the control and they don't have to fake it by being nice to the unwashed masses.
No social safety network, no worker laws, no environmental laws, no nothing to help the average person. The oligarchy will have it all and we will end up dead. They don't need us anymore, they have robots and "AI" to run all the dirty jobs now.
Where any of them think they'll be living in a polluted, infected world, I can't say. Maybe they'll be launching a real Elysium any day now.
At any rate, Trump will be dead, and that will have to console us while we watch our lives be totally destroyed.

Swelling of the hands, feet, face, EVERYWHERE.
Kidney failure accompanies this as they begin to shut down. Liver failure also.
Exhaustion and difficulty breathing.
Excessive thirst.
Fluctuations in blood pressure, usually on the low side.
Agitation.
Bruising of the skin as blood flow decreases.
Trump is a dead man walking and it is a matter of time before Karma and her brother, Grim, inform TACO Don his numbered has been called. Time to pay the piper so to speak.
By the way! His soul is not going to go to Heaven!

(129,433 posts)The demands and stresses of the presidency would make a big difference for most people, but Trump doesn't seem to work very hard. His "work" seems to consist mostly of golf, rage-posting late at night, and enshittifying the decor and architecture of the White House. He could go on for quite awhile with whatever chronic conditions he might have.

(34,015 posts)My grandmother had it and they told my mom, "She could live for decades with this". Eventually my grandmother died three years after breaking her hip. She refused to participate in rehab after breaking her hip. Her goal was to lay in bed, get pneumonia and die. She did this for three years and it took her three years to die.
I think her final diagnosis may have been internal gangrene. Probably from her hip site. She was very stubborn.
It's an extremely common diagnosis.

(4,230 posts)Do you remember the "procedure" TSF underwent recently? What if that was placement of a fistula for dialysis? Maybe that's why he has days of not appearing. Home dialysis takes a lot longer than when it's done in a facility. They can't have him traipsing off to a facility...the whole world would know. And you and I know that heart disease and kidney disease go hand in hand. Clearly his kidneys aren't working, as evidenced by the cankles. My guess is dialysis, which also puts you on a super strict diet--which he will likely not comply with. All this would explain the bruising on his hands--blood draws, etc. If that's what's going on, things are more dire for TSF than anyone would have us know. It may be the reason for Vance appearing in public so much more recently.

(34,015 posts)My husband is on them. No big deal. Bruising is ugly. Hubby is not on dialysis. He's on blood thinners because he got a stent a year ago. Blood thinners are often prescribed to prevent clogged arteries.
If you want to know who is really sick and is still alive, look at Dick Cheney!
He had his first heart attack when was 37!!!
By the time he was elected VP, he already had three heart attacks. And had already had a cardiac bypass.
He had another heart attack two weeks after the presidential election in 2000!
He was constantly having heart procedures done when he was VP.
He even had an internal defibrillator placed while he was VP.
He also was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and was put on blood thinners.
In 2007, he was diagnosed with arterial fibrillation
He had a heart transplant in 2012
He's still alive.
With all of these ailments, Dick Cheney was the shadow president and plotted the war on Iraq.
All of his health problems did not prevent him from being "Darth Vador"
I highly doubt that Trump has worse health than Dick Cheney.
Narcissistic people just don't die when they are up to trouble. Trump is not normal. He's evil, he's too focused on destroying America and trying to win Nobel prizes and take over the world to get sick and die. Physical illness is made worse by things such as stress and anxiety, (these are things that stress adrenal glands and hormones) but Trump doesn't get stressed because he has no empathy. He has no feelings. He doesn't have the emotions that normal person has that would normally strain most people physically. He's a dictator.
Since Dick Cheney accomplished alot of evil with much worse conditions than Trump, I just don't think Trump has a life threatening condition. I really don't think he's on dialysis. I would be surprised. But I highly doubt it.

They can let him park his fat orange ass in a golf cart, get up and waddle over to a ball a caddy has dropped for his convenience, claim he won, and then go home for some pudding, as long as he doesn't talk to anybody.
