This is used across private and public organizations ( corporations, government, etc. )

The leaders want to get ahead of criticism and to take the pulse of the anticipated change before it is officially announced.
The planned change may be modified by feedback from key stake-holders. If used in good faith ..really seeking feedback versus trying to paper over bullshite , It can be quite useful.

So is JD ‘socializing ‘ the a situation in the near future that Donny will be incapacitated and eventually 🪦?
